Monday and Tuesday we just relaxed and hung out in the Silver Legacy hotel. The boys washed cars, the girls did crosswords and read. Sheila went to the ladies spa, did some yoga, and luxuriated in the hot tub all by herself. Lovely!!! Evenings were for dinner and visiting, and a little gambling. We have all won a little. One night we went to a comedy show, which was quite good. Old style one liners and a good singer musician.
Wednesday the MGA went to a Namgar picnic on Lake Tahoe with the Tilburys and lots of other A's. Spectacular veiws of the lake and surrounding mountains. A lovely beach and a great BBQ lunch.
The MGB went to Lake Tahoe as well with Simon, Donna and Pat. It was supposed to be about a 3 hour trip but there was some road work causing lengthy delays. On our way back when we got onto I80, it was a solid stop, traffic was backed up for miles so we had to go back the same way we came so it was more like a 7 hour trip! We felt like Gilligans Island - the traffic started getting tough, the tiny cars were stuck....! Apparently two trucks hit each other and one of them was full of bees which escaped.
The Car Show on Thursday was at San Rafael Park.
We saw over 600 MGs, a few of which you can see in the pictures.
